Volunteers from a range of community groups and organisations were presented with certificates of appreciation for the passion, commitment and dedication they give to their given field.
Federal member for Bendigo, Lisa Chesters, who hosted the four events said “International Volunteer Day is a wonderful opportunity to thank our volunteers and recognise their commitment to our community,”.
“Our volunteers and their organisations create a sense of belonging and build stronger local communities." Ms Chesters said.
