Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has opened applications for its scholarships for rural and regional students.
Successful applicants will receive $5000 for accommodation and resources expenses.
Maiden Gully’s Jeffrey Tho received the scholarship in 2009 and has since graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science, with honours.
“The scholarship allowed me to reduce the number of hours I had to work, which in turn allowed me to spend more time studying,” he said.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank chairman Robert Johanson said the program had seen consistent growth over its 10 years.
Applications close January 27.
