Bendigo Heritage Attractions – formerly the Bendigo Trust – invited visitors onto its trams and into the Bendigo Tramways Museum, Central Deborah Gold Mine and Joss House Temple without charge.
Throughout the Heritage Unwrapped day trams departing the gold mine have been full, while hundreds of people have watched the Chinese lion dancing at the Joss House.
The Tramways put on free live music in its Blues Tram and served up custom brewed beer to help raise funds to continue tram restoration work done on site.
