It’s the grand final rematch between rivals Bendigo East and Golden Square at Bendigo East.
The big question is can Golden Square step up and provide some serious competition to powerhouse Bendigo East, which has so far breezed through its first six games without barely raising a sweat.
The Beasties are 6-0, +177 shots and have amassed a remarkable 92 of a possible 96 points.
The closest an opponent has got to the two-time defending premiers has been the 16 shots Kangaroo Flat was beaten by in round one.
Golden Square sits in second position and goes into the match on the back of four-straight wins after earlier starting the season with a one-shot loss to Castlemaine, followed by a tie with Eaglehawk.
In other games, Bendigo is at home to the resurgent Kangaroo Flat, which after losing its first three games has since won its past three to charge into the top four.
Bottom side Castlemaine, which has lost its past five, is at home to Eaglehawk.
And Woodbury will be aiming to consolidate its position in the top four when it takes on Inglewood, which will be aiming to end a run of four losses in a row.
