Choir to present seasonal concert

CHRISTMAS has arrived in Bendigo and with that comes Christmas concerts.

Bendigo Chamber Choir will present its Christmas concert at the Bendigo Town Hall on December 10.

Come Sing Christmas will feature carols as well as music by composers Dieterich Buxtehude, Francis Poulenc, Vaughan Williams and Johann Michael Bach.

“This is one of our major concerts. The Christmas concert is different every year, we successfully did Messiah at Ulumbarra last year,” musical director Michael Bottomley said.

“There will be a great range of music and we will be supported a chamber orchestra.

“It is also a great opportunity for audience participation with some popular carols everyone can join in with.”

The concert will feature two soloists with bass player Peter Hunt and soprano singer Jennifer Schalze.
