Ladson tortured the Marong bowlers with an unbeaten 233 as the Rams – after one stage being 5-63 – made 6-424 in reply to the Panthers’ 9-170.
In the past decade going back to the 2006-07 season, Ladson’s 233 n.o. ranks No.2 on the list of the top scores in division one of the EVCA.
Ladson’s score in the past decade has only been surpassed by Scott Ross’ EVCA record score of 283 n.o. made for Marong against Spring Gully on November 24, 2012.
United’s Andrew Collins (211 v Axe Creek) has also made a double century in the past decade.
