Jockey Williams saluted aboard Gagosian ($2.70) in the Race Services Class 1 Handicap (1400m); Dancing Hare ($4.20) in the Jayco Maiden Plate (1400m); and Portman ($4) in the Schweppes Australia Maiden Plate (1100m).
The day finished well for jockey Linda Meech, who won the last two races – the MyPunter BM64 Handicap (2200m) with Who Says I’m Ready ($5.60) and BM70 Handicap (1500m) on Manhattan Boss ($8.50).
The only locally-trained winner on the eight-race card was in the first when Bendigo’s Brad Cole had success with Silver Pathfinder, with the three-year-old filly breaking through for her first win at odds of $6.60 in the Bet365 3YO Maiden Plate (1400m).
Thurdsay’s quaddie paid $1372.20 and the Daily Double $93.70.
Racing returns to Bendigo next Wednesday.
