Brian Lara set for Bendigo visit in Bendigo on Sunday

ONE of international cricket’s greatest batsmen, West Indian Brian Lara, will be in Bendigo on Sunday.

Lara will be the star attraction at a function at the Strathdale Community Centre from 12.30pm to 5pm.

Tickets are still available from Intersport Bicknells in Williamson Street or by phoning 0420 938 138.

Tickets are $100, which includes food and beverages.

Meanwhile, three Western Bulldogs premiership players will be in Bendigo next week.

Bendigo’s Jake Stringer, Norm Smith medallist Jason Johannisen and Lachie Hunter will be the guests of the “Bulldogs Bark in Bendigo” function at the All Seasons Hotel on Friday, December 2, from 8pm. Tickets cost $35 and can be booked by contacting 5443 8166.
