Students from the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy in Bendigo will perform in their annual show in December.

The performance will showcase the students talents they have learned over the year including improvisation, mime, movement pieces, comedy and drama.

Classes from lower primary (5 to 8 year olds), upper primary (9 to 12 year olds) and youth theatre (13 to 18 year olds) will be featured in the unique drama academy plays.

The Helen O’Grady Drama Academy also has a focus on verbal communication and developing speech skills as well as building confidence and performance skills in students.

During the year students have also developed their own web series “Bump” which introduces people to the teachers and students at the academy.

More than 120 students will take part in the performance which will be at The Capital on Sunday, December 11 at 2pm.
