6.25pm: First item on the agenda is about use of land in Sebastian for warehouse and associated works.
The land is zoned farming and has received more than 20 objections.
6.24pm: Councillors hear two petitions. The first is from residents of Eaglehawk calling for the removal of heavy trucks from Victoria Street.
The second comes from young people of Epsom who are calling for a skatepark. Councillors vote to meet them to further discuss their proposal.
6.06pm: First question comes from Jan Pagliaro who cites an incident of a brawl in Hargreaves Mall.
Does the council have a plan to address youth delinquency.
Cr O’Rourke says she wants to make retail a focus of her mayoral term but directs the question to city director Micheal Smyth who says council has beefed up police patrols
Second question regards promoting Lake Eppalock.
