Every-Hall, who won gold at the 2002 World Rowing Championships in the Lightweight Women’s Quadruple Sculls, joined the Rowing Australia Board for her first meeting on the weekend in Melbourne.
“I feel incredibly honoured and privileged to be bestowed with this honour. Firstly, I would like to say thank you to (outgoing chair) Cameron McKenzie-McHarg for the fantastic work he has done chairing the commission and representing the athletes on the Rowing Australia Board,’’ Every-Hall said.
“I look forward to not only chairing the commission, but also being an active member of the Rowing Australia Board, contributing to the strategic growth and development of our sport and being the voice of our athletes.”
Every-Hall is highly-respected among the rowing community. As an athlete, she first competed for Australia at the Nations Cup in 1999 in Hamburg, Germany, where she won the under-23 Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls.
