The Spirit produced arguably their best offensive performance of the season to defeat the Dandenong Rangers 94-85.
The Spirit had six players score in double figures.
Import Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe led the charge again with 19 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
Kelsey Griffin added 16 points and three boards, while Kerryn Harrington chipped in with 15 points. They were a combined 8-17 from behind the three-point line.
One of the most pleasing signs for the Spirit was the offensive contribution of Nadeen Payne and Ash Karaitiana. Payne had 14 points and nine rebounds off the bench and Karaitiana had 14 points and four rebounds.
Gabe Richards returned to the starting line-up for the first time this season and had 10 points.
The Spirit (3-2) travel to Townsville on Sunday to play the Fire (2-2).
