The two year deal was announced by Southern Cross Austereo Bendigo general manager Jason Priestley on Tuesday morning.
He was joined at the announcement by Bendigo Thunder skipper and Collingwood AFL women's draftee Emma Grant and Spirit champion Gabe Richards.
Priestley said the broadcaster was keen on growing and developing women's sport in the region through its deal with the Women's National Basketball League and Victorian Women's Football League clubs.
"As a proud local broadcaster for over 85 years we recognise the important role women's sport plays in our region's future," he said.
"We hope that our partnership will help drive these two sporting teams on the field and inspire the Emma Grants and Kelsey Griffins of the future."
Richards believed the deal was pivotal to the club's aim of establishing itself as a team for all regional Victorians.
"We have girls that come from all corners of the state and the ability to reach those smaller towns through both the radio stations is incredible to us," she said.
"Obviously it helps strengthen the pathway that we can provide to a national level here in Bendigo."
Grant said the sponsorship agreement would help bring the growing game of women's football to new audiences.
The agreement includes financial backing and marketing support.
