Bride: Tayla Robertson
Groom: Joe Rogasch
Wedding date: Saturday, September 24, 2016
The meeting: Joe and I first met at our local pub one night! We were supposed to meet a few times before then but things kept getting in the way of crossing paths. I walked into the pub and as soon as I laid eyes on him across the room I just had to know who he was. Guess it was destiny!
The proposal: Joe proposed to me on November 18, 2015. He took me to the Woodhouse in Bendigo for tea and then we went to Micky Mouse Hill which was where he popped the question under the amazing city lights and sunset! We frequented there a lot in our relationship overlooking the lights. It was absolutely breath taking and so unexpected.
The wedding day: We got married at The All Seasons in the Conservatory and also had our reception there too. It was absolutely magical! I had the three most amazing girls by my side, my Maid of Honour and cousin, Jayeden Quin, my sister-in-law, Rosie Rogasch and my best friend Jacqui Davies. I went with three different coloured dresses for the girls, pastel pink, pastel purple, and a pastel mint green colour. They all looked absolutely stunning!
The boys looked just as good, as I wanted them casual and relaxed, they were in white shirts, sleeves rolled up, grey pants and to top it off some converses and black braces! Each had a bow tie to match their girls dresses. Everyone looked perfect!
Joe had his best friend Keith Udale-Gordon, brother, Pat Rogasch, and another good mate, Daniel Loescher by his side.
Our reception looked very elegant, yet very relaxed at the same time. We had Leonie from Dalee, Flowers, Events and Hire set up our chair covers, with out black organza chair sashes. We also had an amazing fairy light backdrop behind the bridal table front Leonie too! It looked stunning.
Our table centres and boquets were created by the amazing and talented Fiona from Event Flowers Bendigo. They looked so elegant and just set the whole venue off. Our boquets were stunning too, with whites and creams and green foliage. Fiona did such an incredible job!
We had R&J Dj and Entertainment as our DJ who had everybody up off their chairs and in the dance floor ALL night, even the oldies! It was such a perfect night!
The dress: I got my wedding dress from Michele's Bridal and Formal Wear in Shepparton. Michelle and Sally were both absolutely amazing at helping me with my dress, it was well worth the trip to Shepparton!
My dress was a Stella York Design, with a sweetheart neckline, fitted the whole way down with the most amazing train you have ever seen (if I do say so myself!) the best part about a Michele and my dress was, I planned on being pregnant with our second child at the wedding, so Michele was so accommodating in helping me with my perfect dress whilst maintaining it still fit me. I wasn't pregnant when I first got my dress, but at my final fitting I was 15 weeks and it fit perfectly with minimal alterations!
It was an ivory/cafe colour, with lace from top to bottom. I felt truly beautiful in it. It was amazing!
The cake: Cakes by Kelly in Bendigo created the perfect wedding cake for us! It was a white icing, butter cake (my fav!) with layers of white chocolate icing through it too, finished off with some flowers from Fiona!
Photography: Christine Treacy Photography created the most perfect photos for us to look back on and remember our special day. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side during our photos and it rained the whole time but Christine was amazing and worked with it, and still got some absolutely amazing shots!
Honeymoon destination: Having our little two-year-old boy Lincoln and being pregnant we are saving our honeymoon for when the time is right. Our destination will be Los Angeles! We did go on a small honeymoon the day after the wedding though to Melbourne for two nights which was so relaxing!
