A round of one-day matches were highlighted by some fine individual performances.
In under-16A, Strathfieldsaye’s Seamus Dwyer (50), Abe Sheahan (48) and Riley Tresize (37) led their team to a huge total (0-166) against BUCC (2-121).
An unbeaten 55 from Kayle Thompson led Bendigo (4-110) to victory over Eaglehawk (4-91, Campbell Richards 45 not out and Kynan Gard 3-21).
Riley Burns made 41 not out as Kangaroo Flat (4-111) defeated Strathdale (7-84).
Sandhurst (2-158) openers Will Gadsden (53 not out) and Caelan Smith (52 not out) guided the Dragons to victory over Maiden Gully (4-148). Matt Cusack (48 not out) and Lachlan Lee (42 not out) batted well for the Gully.
In the remaining game, Strathdale (5-117) proved too strong for Golden Square (69).

Round two for under-16s and under-14s are two-day matches on October 29-November 5.
