In his second season of racing Moyle has won both a regional title and also achieved a second-place at state level.
The 15-year-old finished second in the 85cc C-grade class of the Victorian State Titles raced over four rounds.
Moyle had entered the last round of the titles in fourth position, but climbed two places in the rankings after a strong showing at Mildura.
As well as his second placing in the state titles, Moyle, who is sponsored by Elliott Bros of Bendigo, was the winner of this year’s Northern Region 85cc C-grade title.
However, it was far from smooth-sailing for Moyle in the Northern Region series after he was forced to overcome a broken wrist in the fifth of the six rounds.
The Year 10 Eaglehawk High student will next year step up to compete in the 125cc B-grade class of competition.
“I have to let my arm heal first, but then I’m looking forward to getting on the 125cc for practice and seeing how I go next year,” Moyle said this week.
