Rozzi Bazzani, who now calls the Macedon Ranges home, took out the prestigious history publication award for her book Hector: The Story of Hector Crawford and Crawford Productions.
The writer won praise from the judges for her accessible narrative style in documenting the life and times of a “towering figure” in Australian history.
“These fantastic award winning projects document our history and the development of Victoria as we know it today,” said Special Minister of State Gavin Jennings.
“I want to congratulate every winner on their contribution.”
