Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Goldsborough, near Dunolly, last night.

It is believed the driver of a Ford utility collided head on with a semi-trailer on Dunolly-Moliagul Road, about 8.30pm.
The male driver of the ute was the only occupant of the vehicle and died at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 56-year-old man, was not injured and has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
The exact cause of the collision is yet to be determined.
