The Huntly Fire Brigade has operated out of its current site for the past 31 years and has been operating in the township since 1946.
The brigade will mark the milestone with tours of the new station as well as displays from local emergency services crews, fire running team demonstrations and free children’s activities between 12pm and 3pm.
Firefighters will also be on hand to discuss fire safety and planning for the season ahead.
Fire brigade members will march from the old fire station to the new facility at 9.30am and Bendigo East MP Jacinta Allan will officially open the new station at 483 Midland Highway at 10:30am.
