Troy, Adam, Joel and Scott Selwood have joined forces with prominent author Tony Wilson to launch The Selwood Brothers – a junior fiction series inspired by the real-life childhood antics of the Bendigo-raised siblings.
The brothers grew up in Strathdale where their backyard footy matches laid the foundation for what they achieved at the highest level.
From St Therese’s to Kennington-Sandhurst, the Bendigo Pioneers and Sandhurst football clubs, the Selwood brothers advanced to the AFL where they’ve combined to play 630 games.
The brothers will return to their hometown on Sunday to promote the new books.
The Selwoods will be at a Dymocks promotion in the South Bendigo social rooms at the QEO from 10.30am-12.30pm and at Big W at Bendigo Marketplace from 2pm-3.30pm.
