Police attended a property on Quarry Road and arrested a 22-year-old man in a nearby paddock about 10.45am on Wednesday.
He was conveyed to a Melbourne hospital under police guard due to pre-existing injuries.
Detectives from Fawkner Embona Taskforce on Thursday charged the Sunbury man in relation to 50 offences which occurred between Friday, September 2 and Saturday, October 8.
This includes an alleged pursuit in Faraday and an alleged aggravated burglary in Elphinstone on Saturday, October 8.
The charges include armed robbery, aggravated burglary, arson, traffick drug of dependence, assault-related offences, theft of motor vehicle, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, evade police and driving-related offences.
He has been remanded to appear at Melbourne County Court on Friday.
Police also arrested three other people at the property:
• A 21-year-old Sunbury woman was interviewed by police before being released.
• A 25-year-old Lancefield man was interviewed and charged with theft of motor vehicle, handle stolen goods, and other offences. He was bailed to face Kyneton Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
• A 17-year-old Kyneton boy was interviewed and charged with theft. He was bailed to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
