Year 7 and 8 food technology elective students from Crusoe College have been busy preparing decorated cupcakes, muffins and chocolate cakes.
Food technology teacher Sandra Lowenthal oversaw the 15 students’ entries in today’s show.
“They got to showcase their skills,” she said.
“A lot of them are passionate about cooking and have done additional things at home.
“They really love learning about food and developing their skills.” Ms Lowenthal said some students were competing in the cooking competitions for the first time and all of them had done a great job.
“I’ll go down to the show tomorrow and hopefully we’ll have some winners. Then we’ll do it all again next year.”
