The grants as part of the Federal Government’s Local Sporting Champions program were presented by Federal Member for Bendigo Lisa Chesters.
The grants can be used for travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an event.
“It’s great to see their hard work and dedication rewarded with a $500 grant,” Chesters said.
Successful applicants:
Diving – Abby Rowley.
Athletics – Matthew Heislers, Sally Jones.
Equestrian – Amy Bachmann.
AFL – Benjamin Cameron.
Netball – Ruby Barkmeyer.
Volleyball – Eva Shelton, Georgie Eason, Amelia Fogarty, Matthew McSwain, Olivia Walklate, Holly Eason, Madeline Betts.
Basketball – Emily Collins, Darcy Williams, Emma Gilligan, Meg McCarthy, Matilda Osbourne, Piper Dunlop, Angelica Jack.
