He went on to win by 2.495 seconds to make it eight victories in his last nine starts, while his tally for the season now stands at 11.
Campbell’s brilliant run at the Mount also extended his series lead to 126.5 points with three races remaining in 2016.
“I had fantastic pace here last year, winning the round, and another win this year; I have good pace here and thoroughly love the circuit. It’s great to get a clean sweep this weekend,” he said.
“We lost some points at Sandown after the race three DNF, but thankfully I’ve come back strong at Bathurst.
“Nothing beats Bathurst in my books. I couldn’t be happier to get maximum points for the weekend, though there are plenty of points still up for grabs.”
