FASHION designers, students and local artists showed off their talents on Friday at the Bendigo Fashion Festival’s 10th anniversary runway show.
Among the 23 designers were three students and six designers from Bendigo, including Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology students Angus McCormack, Alysha Elliot and Madeleine Sinco, designers Angela Morrissey and Heather Lyons, milliners Angie Jackman and Bronwyn Rivett, mask maker Brenda Davitidis, and scarf and shawl maker Sharon Greenway.
Ready-to-wear fashions from local retailers also appeared on the Ulumbarra Theatre runway alongside the designer creations.
City of Greater Bendigo acting events manager Dawn Holland said the council wanted to establish Bendigo as a fashion and retail destination.
