Now in its sixth year, the Riverboats Festival has become a popular part of the Echuca-Moama events calendar.
This year it runs from Friday, February 17, to Sunday, February 19.
James Reyne, Cash Savage and the Last Drinks, Shane Howard, Melody Pool, William Crighton, The Meltdown, Mighty Duke and The Lords and Karl S. Williams will also perform at the festival.
Rockwiz’s Brian Nankervis will again return to host the festival.
“After five years, we are so proud that Riverboats has remained boutique in both Its size and philosophy, yet continues to attract some of the most celebrated artists in Australian music,” festival director David Frazer said.
“To be able to welcome artists including Paul Kelly and Charlie Owen to the banks of the Murray next February is a defining moment in the history of our festival.
“We can’t wait for what promises to be a fantastic weekend under the red gums.“
The festival also features paddle steamer side-shows with performances including award-winning blues songwriter Mia Dyson, the darkly beautiful folk music of William Crighton, alt-country blues legends Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, and the brassy, soul steam train that is The Meltdown.
On Sunday, February 19, the festival’s annual breakfast will again be at the Beechworth Bakery.
Tickets are on sale from October 10. Head to www.riverboatsmusic.com.au for more details.
