Heritage works are to be undertaken to refurbish the external fabric of the historic St Arnaud railway station. Public Transport Minister Jacinta Allan visited the station yesterday to outline the restoration works on the heritage-listed building, constructed in 1878. The works will include re-pointing brick work, internal flooring repairs, restoring wooden frames and installing new glass windows, gutters, and downpipes and better drainage.
