DINO Rafaeles' professional boxing career got off to an impressive start on Wednesday night.
The Bendigo flyweight won a unanimous points decision over Junrey Amora in the Southern Leyte province of the Philippines.
According to his trainer Pat Connolly, Rafaeles won every round and scored strong knockdown the second round.
Amora entered the four three-minute rounds contest with a three kilogram weight advantage and was having his fourth professional fight.
Rafaeles' win followed four weeks of training in the Philippines and Thailand during July and August.
He turned professional in June.
