A wombat, dingo and snake are among the animals on display at Hargreaves Mall today until 1.30pm.
Rylah Dalton-Downward, 5, of Bendigo gave Willow the wombat a big cuddle.
Wombats are her favourite animal, “because they’re so cute.”
In addition to the display by Tooko Wildlife, children can have their faces painted.
Kiera Cook, 6, of Kangaroo Flat opted for a “feminine puppy.”
While Declan Chant, 6, of Strathfieldsaye had his arm painted in such a way that it seemed a snake was crawling up it.
Relma Stewart of Golden Square saw the school holiday activity and couldn’t pass up an opportunity for a spot of fun.
She stopped for a quick encounter with the snake.
The activity was provided free of charge by the City of Greater Bendigo in celebration of the school holidays, which end on Sunday.
