Sergeant Mick McCrann said police spotted the 23-year-old driving a white Holden Statesman on Olympic Parade, Kangaroo Flat, on Thursday.
When police attempted to pull him over, he sped away suddenly, overtaking a motorcycle “dangerously” and then a car on the left-hand side of the road.
Police terminated the pursuit, but spotted the driver again on Taylor Street, California Gully, later in the day.
Another attempted intercept was made, and the driver sped away for a second time at 100 km/h in a 60 zone, overtaking a vehicle on the left side of the road and another vehicle on the right.
The second pursuit was also terminated.
The Huntly man was found again driving on Olympic Parade on Sunday, and police made a third attempt to intercept him.
He drove away at 102 km/h in a 60 zone, “narrowly missing” a car while overtaking.
On Monday, police gained an arrest warrant and found the man at an address in Huntly.
The man was already on bail for two other matters, and was a disqualified driver.
Sergeant McCrann said the man had continued to breach bail conditions by driving a vehicle.
He said the arrest was a good outcome for the community.
“The investigation by Senior Constable Andrews quickly led to the identification, warrant and subsequent arrest,” Sergeant McCrann said.
“These actions significantly reduced the risks to police and road users.”
The man was remanded in custody to appear in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
