The new art installation, called Imagine.Wonder.Full, includes oversized and “shrunken” activity stations where children can decorate papier mache shapes or create their own using the natural environment.
Local artist Tracey Fraser created the vibrant works, and is keen to share her talent with Bendigo’s youngest generations.
City of Greater Bendigo arts officer Rohan Phillips said the popularity of the exhibits grew every year.
“Each year the City commissions an artist to transform the Conservatory into a space for imaginative play and each year the numbers grow,” Mr Phillips said.
“Tracey is inspired by the power of children’s imagination and the way they can create or just see the amazing and wonderful in what is simple, ordinary and every day.”
The exhibit is open 11am to 3pm daily from September 23 to October 2.
