The Bendigo Umpires Association announced its grand final umpires at Wednesday’s presentation night.
BUA GRAND FINAL UMPIRES:
Seniors – Sandhurst v Golden Square, 2.20pm:
Field: Dean Goodridge, Paul Hutchinson, John Norton, Dale Caldwell (emerg).
Boundary: Steven Crouch, Mitch Davey, Adrian Dingfelder, Connor Ipsen.
Goal: Ross Court, Wayne Ford.
Reserves – Sandhurst v Golden Square, 11.40am:
Field: Scott Baxter, Steve Christensen, Damian Nolan, Jason Maher (emerg).
Boundary: Jaryd Crapper, Fletcher Gallagher, Joshua Hamilton, Zac Sims.
Goal: Brian Davey, Alan Stock.
Under-18s – Sandhurst v Strathfieldsaye, 9am.
Field: Gavin Carter, Cameron Nolan, Ben O’Brien, Mark Snell (emerg).
Boundary: Christopher Cox, Jeremy Ellis, Lachlan Parkinson, Cameron Smith.
Goal: Jeremy Ford, Kevin Monk.
Meanwhile, the BUA also presented its season awards on Wednesday night, where Paul Hutchinson (field), Ross Court (goal), Adrian Dingfelder (boundary) were all named umpires of the year.
Among the highlights of the presentation night was BUA life membership being presented to Gavin Carter.
Carter has been involved with the BUA since 1993, with his umpiring tally currently around 560 games, which includes Bendigo, Heathcote District, Loddon Valley and Bendigo junior grand finals.

Bendigo Bank Best First Year Umpire – Mark Snell (field), Blayne Floyd (goal), George Tzanidis (boundary).
Ian Tuddenham Best Clubman – Noel Ridge.
Life Membership – Gavin Carter.
Mark Prince Eyecare Plus Umpires of the Year – Paul Hutchinson (field), Ross Court (goal), Adrian Dingfelder (boundary).
