SPORTSBET expects Sandhurst to win its first Bendigo Football-Netball League premiership for 12 years on Saturday.

The Dragons will clash with Golden Square at the QEO in what will be their first grand final meeting since 2001.

Sportsbet’s grand final market has the Dragons short-priced $1.30 favourites to win the premiership.

The Bulldogs, pursuing their sixth premiership since 2009, are $3.30 outsiders, not that co-captain Jack Geary is worried about Golden Square’s underdog status.

“We don’t read too much into it, it’s anyone’s game on the day,” Geary said on Wednesday.

“We’ll come out on the day, put our best foot forward and play four quarters of footy.”

Meanwhile, in Sunday’s Goulburn Valley Football League grand final at Deakin Reserve, the undefeated Kyabram takes on Rochester for the flag.

Sportsbet has Kyabram $1.15 and Rochester $5 in its GVFL market.
