The Magpies had the better of Donald, winning 8.6 (54) to 4.4 (28) at St Arnaud.
The Magpies were never headed after Jordan Bell kicked the opening goal, and they had the game well in hand at three quarter-time when they led 8.6 to 1.4.
Boort coach Nathan Gooding was awarded the best-on-ground medal.
• Earlier in the day there was a reversal of the result as Donald defeated Boort by 22 points in the under-13s.
The Magpies held a 10-point advantage at three quarter-time, 3.5 to 2.1.
But after only kicking two goals in the first three quarters, the Royals piled on five in the final term to run away with a 7.4 (46) to 3.6 (24) victory.
Donald’s Beau Morgan won the best on ground medal, while the best player for the Magpies was Will Perryman.

St Arnaud went into the match undefeated, but was outplayed by the Navies, who prevailed by 18 points.
On the back of kicking five goals to one during the second and third quarters, the Navies won 9.11 (65) to 7.5 (47).
The best on ground medal was won by Chartlon’s Jed Thompson.
Jack Tillig kicked five of the Saints’ seven goals.
