The American took the SEABL competition by storm, leading the league in scoring with 27.7 points per game.
Kendle also averaged 6.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists.
Just as the MVP announcement was no surprise, there was none with the defensive player of the year award.
That accolade went to fellow import Damian Johnson.
The two-time SEABL national championship player with Mount Gambier produced an excellent first season in Bendigo with 15.8ppg and 8.8rpg.
Johnson led the league with 62 blocked shots, nearly 20 ahead of his nearest rival.
The coach's awards were won by point guard Kevin White and veteran and team skipper Chris Hogan.
Captain Kelly Wilson won the Bendigo Lady Braves MVP award after a fine season in which she averaged top six in the league in points (20.9) and first in assists (6.5).
Those numbers have Wilson, who will spend the up-coming WNBL season with Townsville, in strong contention for the league MVP award.
Her sister Andrea Wilson won the defensive player of the year award, while Keely Froling and young gun Jess Rennie won the coaches awards.
Kendle, Johnson, White and Froling will be in line for further honours when the league awards are announced on September 11.
Kendle and Johnson are contenders for the MVP award, White and Johnson are nominee for the defensive player of the year, while Froling has been nominated for the Australian youth player of the year.
