Vahland, released on the band's own label Verse Chorus Verse Music, is a follow up to their debut album, 2015’s Charing Cross and the 2016 Golden Triangle EP.
The new album was recorded live with minimal overdubs on an analog 8-track reel to reel tape machine with CW Stoneking engineer Alex Bennett at his central Victorian studio.
For Lions will launch Vahland on Friday, September 9 at the Spotted Mallard hotel in Brunswick, before bringing it home to Bendigo’s Golden Vine Hotel on Saturday, September 10. Entry to the Melbourne show is free, and tickets to the Bendigo show are available from the Golden Vine for $10.
