Dal Santo, 32 is among four North Melbourne veterans who won’t be re-contracted next year.
Dal Santo has played the most AFL games of any player drafted from the Bendigo Pioneers with 320 – 260 at St Kilda and 60 at the Kangaroos, with whom he joined in 2014.
Dal Santo said earlier this week he wanted to play on next year.
