Both the Blazers’ senior and reserves women’s teams enjoyed victories, while the men’s seniors and reserves teams both suffered defeats.
Last weekend’s results:
Senior men – 3 lt Gippsland Bulls 6.
Senior women – 4 def Knox 0.
Reserves men – 2 lt Gippsland Bulls 4.
Reserves women – 2 def Knox 0.
With one round remaining in the home and away season the senior men are fourth on the Vic League 2 ladder with a 9-7-1 record.
The senior women sit third on the Vic League 1 ladder with a 13-5-3 record.
The men play away against the Greater Dandenong Warriors this Saturday, while the women also have an away game against the KBH Brumbies.
The under-16 mixed team takes on Essendon in a semi-final from 7pm on Friday at the Footscray Hockey Centre.
