Calls for improvements to the facilities at Bendigo’s premier sporting venue have highlighted areas for improvement at venues throughout the region. 

The state government has launched new guidelines for female friendly sport infrastructure, building on their Female Friendly Facilities Fund. 

AFL central Victoria and Netball Victoria have audited sporting venues in nine municipalities, including the City of Greater Bendigo.
