Felicity Spear (curator), Daniel Armstrong, Magda Cebokli, Lesley Duxbury, Simon Finn, Sam Leach, Harry Nankin, Tarja Trygg and Paul Uhlmann examine Kepler’s ideas and our responses to a complex universe.
Exhibition curator Felicity Spear explains; “we live in a vulnerable space capsule called Earth and we keep extending our reach through complex technologies, searching for faint whispers from beyond. Kepler’s ideas are still prescient today. These artists bring the physical universe to life through the lens of history and science.”
Professor Karen Quinlan, La Trobe Art Institute and Bendigo Art Gallery director, will open the exhibition this Saturday at 2pm.
