Co-coach Bryce Curnow, co-captain Jayden Donaldson, key forward Tom Bartholomew and key defender Ash Trollop have all missed games this season because of injuries.
Their return is timely for the Storm as they try to build a forward structure for the finals in five weeks time.
On Saturday, the Storm host South Bendigo and there’s every chance the home side will start with Curnow, Bartholomew, Jake Hall and Harry Conway inside forward 50. Throw in Shannon Geary as a small forward and that’s the most potent forward line the Storm has had on paper all year.
To have any chance of stretching the Storm, the Bloods will need to repeat the form they showed in their round 10 victory over Kyneton. Kicking more than 10 goals against the Storm’s defence will be the Bloods biggest issue.
