Ryan is one of 18 players in the training squad to prepare for the national championships in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast from September 26 to October 6.
The Vic Country and Vic Metro training squads of 18 will undergo match scenarios, fielding and a trial match across two weekends in early August, before the final squads of 13 will be announced on August 17.
Golden Square’s Zane Keighran will also train with the Vic Country squad. Keighran is already playing at the national titles with the Cricket Australia under-16 team.
