CCB won Tuesday’s Year 7 boys carnival and backed up victory in Wednesday's Year 9-10 tournament.
CCB’s Year 7 team defeated Bendigo South East College by 29 points in the grand final.
CCB easily accounted for Crusoe College and Eaglehawk Secondary College in its pool games, while BSE was also undefeated in its pool games against Weeroona College, Girton and Marist College.
The host school kept BSE goalless in the grand final, 4.7 (31) to 0.2 (2).
The Year 9-10 carnival was much tighter.
CCB marched through pool B without too many troubles, but BSE had close games with Weeroona College and Girton.
BSE defeated Weeroona by 10 points and Girton by seven points to advance to the final.
The grand final was a thriller, with CCB’s straighter kicking the difference in the 2.4 (16) to 1.8 (14) result.
The CCB teams advance to the Loddon Mallee Finals in Swan Hill on August 3.
