Electronic road signs cropped up around Melbourne on Wednesday morning, reminding people not to play the popular mobile app while behind the wheel.
VicRoads says around 40 of its signs are carrying the "Don't drive and Pokemon" message.
The signs appear to have won approval from passersby.
The signs come after Victoria Police issued a public warning about Pokemon Go players criss-crossing Melbourne's streets without paying proper attention to passing traffic.
Even lord mayor Robert Doyle has weighed in, urging gamers to pay attention to passing cars and trams.
