THREE young Bendigo tennis players will pit themselves against some of the best 11-and-under competitors from across Victoria this weekend.

Bendigo Lawn Tennis Club's Mitchell Collins and Willow Barnett, and South Bendigo's Toby Howlett will be part of a four player Loddon Campaspe squad contesting the prestigious Frank Sedgman Cup.
They will be joined by Rich River Tennis Club's Isabella Crossman.
All four players have been competing in the BTA's Super 12s program.
The event, which forms a part of Tennis Victoria’s regional teams events series, will be hosted by the Bendigo Tennis Association at its Nolan Street headquarters this Saturday and Sunday.
Sixteen teams from across metropolitan and country Victoria will take part in the tournament.
Each team contains two boys and two girls, contesting singles and mixed doubles matches.
BTA executive officer Leon Retallick said the local Loddon Campaspe team would be looking to use their home court advantage over rivals.
They will go head-to-head teams representing Bayside – Moorabbin, Eastern Region Tennis, North Eastern, North Suburban, Waverley, Peninsula, Barwon, Central Gippsland, Central Highlands, East Gippsland, Goulburn, Loddon Campaspe, Mornington Peninsula Region, Northern Mallee, South West and Wimmera.
