The Bourke’s used the property as both a shop and residence, as did Appleby's Funeral Directors, who owned the premises from 1937 for 30 years. In the 1970s and 80s, successful sculptor Robin Hardiman lived there, locals recalling him occasionally opened his home to the public to view his artwork. The current owner is also an artist and says the house was “only standing from memory” before its overhaul. For more information, contact Goldfields Real Estate.
