The holder of the division one winning TattsLotto ticket purchased in Maryborough, has claimed their $1.5 million prize from Tatts.
While the winner is now known to Tatts, they have requested to keep their identity a secret as they familiarise themselves with their new status.
The private winner purchased their winning unregistered 24-game QuickPick from Maryborough News & Lotto, on High Street, Maryborough.
Maryborough News & Lotto owners Cheryl and Ross Forster were thrilled to know the prize had been claimed by their happy customer.
“That’s fantastic. It’s sensational to know that the prize has been claimed and we couldn’t be happier for our new millionaire customer!” Mr Forster said.
“The fact the customer won with a 24-game QuickPick just goes to show that you’ve got to be in it to win it.”
It’s not the first time division one has come to Maryborough. The store has 34 division one winning entries under its belt including two sold this year.
Four months ago in the February Valentine’s Superdraw, the store sold a $1.1 million division one winning entry to a private syndicate of 13 workmates.
