A Golden Square resident awoke on Sunday morning to find a broken lock and a chain in their carport, but not their Kawasaki motorbike.

Bendigo sergeant Steve Rainey said unknown offenders attended the Chum Street address overnight on Sunday and cut the lock, wheeled the motorcycle out of the carport, and started it up.
The missing motorcycle is a green 1997 Kawasaki ZX9R bearing the number plate 1A9LJ, with a Gold Coast Kawasaki sticker etched into the frame.
Sergeant Rainey said people could call Bendigo Police Station on 5448 1300 with any information.
