The Demons won 47-44 to snap Colbinabbin’s 21-game winning streak dating back to round four last year.
White Hills set up its win with a blistering start. The Demons opened up a six-goal break in the first quarter and extended that margin to 10 goals early in the last term.

The Demons steadied down the stretch and held on to win by three goals. Centre Lauren Bowles and wing defence Kirstie Harvey were superb for White Hills.
The result shook up the A-grade ladder, with Colbo slipping from top spot to third.
White Hills moved into second spot, while North Bendigo was the major beneficiary, with the Bulldogs climbing to top spot.
North Bendigo topped 50 goals for the sixth time this season when it defeated Mt Pleasant 60-27.
Leitchville-Gunbower stayed in touch with the top three by defeating Heathcote 62-22.
The Bombers, who were previously the last team to defeat Colbo, are in fourth spot – two games behind the Grasshoppers.
Huntly scored a percentage boosting win over Elmore.
The Hawks’ 53-16 victory gave them a one-game and 23 per cent advantage over sixth-placed Mount Pleasant.
Huntly and Mount Pleasant both have testing games to round out the first half of the season next Saturday.
The Hawks host North Bendigo, while Mounts are at home to Colbinabbin.
