The Tigers thumped St Arnaud by 105 points, winning 26.11 (167) to 9.8 (62) against the reigning premiers on their home ground.
As well as Doering’s 10 goals, the Tigers also Mikal Bloom and Lachlan Gilbert (two goals) star.
Matthew Goode and Gavin Vassallo played well for the struggling Saints, whose record in their premiership defence is now 1-5.

In a scrappy affair, the Bulls prevailed 7.9 (51) to 7.5 (47) in a result that keeps the Redbacks winless.
Jacob Noonan was the best for the Bulls, while Ben DeAraugo played well for the Redbacks, who had coach Danny Benaim kick four goals.
